Very courteous staff, a great manager as well, food was excellent, drinks were reasonably price, for once I feel that tipping was well deserved! The place is chic, french vibes and a beautiful decor.

Fantastic spot for an elevated dining experience. Being a hotel restaurant on a relatively quiet street in the entertainment district, it is not as busy as other restaurants in the area, but the food and drinks are excellent. Perfect spot for date night For more good eats and drinks, check out and follow my feed @instantonium on Instagram

What a lovely little restaurant. We had an amazing breakfast here. What is even more of a delight is the decor. The setting is beautiful and that kind of thing does not usually make a difference to me. If in the area it is worth coming in. I’m adding to this review. We went for dinner and it was amazing. The drinks were well prepared and the food both well prepared and presented. An absolutely delightful little restaurant.

Casual French done properly. The food was cooked perfectly and the sauces (also perfect) complemented everything well. The service team took very good care of us.

Victor nailed the essence of Modern French quisine. The maple and steak seasoning on the roasted nuts is perfection! We were delighted with everything we ate. The burger was delicious, the gnocchi delightful and, oh my goodness, I've never tasted such amazing asparagus. It was obviously quite fresh and of high quality to begin with, but the way it was prepared was superb! With service on point, our dining experience was tops!

While the new Victor Restaurant is being built, the current location is the library within the Le Germain Hotel. Which actually made for a quaint locale. I wanted a light dinner, so opted for the Caesar salad, with an added avocado. Absolutely stunning in presentation and taste. Although, to be honest, I would have preferred ever-so-slightly more dressing. Nevertheless, it was very satisfying. The bacon crumble was cooked perfectly, as well. I then chose the vanilla cheesecake with fruit compote. My gosh, what a huge slice! Very light in texture, it was a perfect compliment. My only real complaint is that they did not offer a Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass. The Merlot I chose was okay, but I prefer a nice Cab with dinner.

This restaurant is located inside Le Germain Hotel. The decor and vibes is very nice and classy. We were here on a Saturday night, but the place was empty, which is surprising to me, as everything was lovely here. We had the Icelandic cod, duck magret, and brussel sprouts. The cod was fresh and the rice that accompanied it was flavorful. The duck was delicious, the polenta was also great.

A great dining experience on a Wednesday night. We booked a table for 6pm but realized that maybe we didn't need a reso - we were practically the only people there. This is Toronto's greatest secret, if that's the case. This place is classy (but not bougie), old (but totally doesn't look it), and it's got all the elements to make a dinner fantastic. Tascha was our server and she was natural and fun. There was no pretentiousness there. Food was phenomenal - we got a shrimp Waldorf and the gem salad to start, a pan seared chicken and the Vic burger as mains, and the desserts... Omg the desserts (a pavlova and a sticky toffee pudding)! Literally every bite of everything was better than the last. Hats off to the chef! Will be coming back. Just hoping that the secret isn't out and everyone's rushing to go... Thank you for an awesome, fantastic evening, one I haven't had in a long while in TO! 3
